And this hole always pisses me off. It's the 18th at Glen Ivy Trilogy. The elevation drop is just plain ridiculous.

I've played there a couple of times. That hole is just plain-ass gay when the prevailing wind is blowing. Tee shot balloons and stays in the air about 3 minutes. A 180 yard duck-hook is the play there if the wind is up.

No wind today only a light breeze, the weather was perfect. Still hate this hole!

That's dumb...is the rest of the course tricked up like that? :squiggle:

The course overall has a great lay out. Holes 10-18 are more fun than 1-9. Lots of doglegs, water and elevation changes throughout. I carry an 18 HC and shot an honest 93 today.

Cool, I'm a 4. Maybe I'll try that place out one of these days. I just hate tricked up courses where you hit a perfect shot and come to find that it ended up in a "less than ideal" spot ;)

That tee-off looks like the at Lake San Marcos course. The only difference is there is a water hazard you have to get the ball over.
I hate those types of holes!!!

You're not alone....... I'm often out shot, but do have a good putting game. Then 10+ yards don't matter when they are 2+ putters. Besides, it's all about beating the sh!t out of yourself and the ball.

Yep, doesn't it feel great? :hammerhea :D
A good short game is more important than anything else. I grew up playing the junior events with a good friend. This guy didn't pass 5'6" until he was a sophomore. To stay competitive he'd practice for hours on and around the green. Once that little focker started growing his scores dropped big time. He plays for cal poly now and is pretty competitive :D
