View Full Version : Water pumps w/ belt driven cam??

Anyone running an external/dry belt drive on a bbc just curious what type of pump you used and how it works. Im thinking of runnig a holley stand alone electric but holley doesnt know if it will selfprime any input would be appreciated thanks Ryan

I do. Had the motor in a jet so not an issue then. Now putting it in a v-drive. Will be ordering a Hardon Marine single stage billet belt driven pump and fabbing the mount.

Some of the GN boats use a regular magnaflow pump with the belt drive.
They have a couple of stands and a plate that runs across in front of
the cam gear. Lightfoot's Raysoncraft has one and so does Hobans GN30
Rush.
