Do you folks in Cali.feel the need to carry a weapon...?..If you could ...would you?....would you get the necessary training to know its use?..Why does the legislature there deem guns so unecessary for privat LAW ABIDING CITIZENS?
..There was an interesting thread at RRL you should read about what guns people carry...

The police unions in Cali are highly against anyone owning a gun.
I guess I can't blame them but, there are other jobs out there that are safer if that is what they want. Just don't take OUR rights away.

Anytime I travel I 'm packin. And some other times if I have to go somewhere and not leave the car. I wont take it anywhere that I can't keep it on me or be close to it. Don't have to worry much around my area but when I drive to LA or to the gettos for some reason. Jonny law can't help me out when i'm jacked and dead.

I sure would be packing if I was able to legally..I have already went through some tactical training/sniper shooting..at the camp up in Burro Canyon...that was fun..Its hard to actually see what the result would be here in Ca though..Less crime in AZ..but then u dont have as many gangs or people.

The sad thing is, there are so many idiots here, I think this place would be even more scary with everyone packin. Seems to me there are only some people who can responsiably do so. I've hunted since I was 12 and was raised around this stuff so I do respect guns and life. I would never use it untill I had no other choice.

Glock 9mm. Always with me. I've had the proper training and have been around guns all my life. Since I travel so much in the desert and the country with my daughter - I carry it. I dont want to end up a statistic. The Yosemite murders a few years back are always on my mind and I cant help but wonder if they had some type of gun with them maybe one of them would be alive today. I would do anything it takes to protect myself or my daughter if need be. In todays world, a dog just isn't enough. ;)

Exactly! A while back I was listening to a talk radio station and one of the three twits on LA radio was trying to say hamberger meat came from a certin section of the cow. I'd imagine there's a lot of cali peeps that have no idea. Do I want them to carry guns........Probably not.

She would lick them to death at this point.......:) At 5 months she is getting protective tho.... my last Shepherd would not let anyone NEAR my truck or near my daughter when she was around. I could leave the windows wide open and know she'd be there when I got back. Thats a comforting feeling.

I usualy carry my 9mm with me when I go to Glamis or the River just in case. But in my case I just went to autozone on my way to work on my boat in storage. I would go through the training to carry a gun legally, ( if needed for an ex military and gulf war vet).

Some of us reserve our 2nd ammendment rights on a daily basis....despite what our socialists have pawned off as "law"........ ;)
