Heading out in the morning. Hope the wind stays away :rollside: Temps in the 80's, sounds like a 10am beer call. :skull:

I may just be there @ 10AM to hand you that beer you'll be needing :), if not then.....shortly thereafter!! I've been checking the weather and I saw winds for the weekend :devil:, that means a whole lotta down time :mad:, we may be able to keep ourselves busy though, huh??!! :D :D See ya tomorrow!! :rollside:

Yeah the wind is going to be a factor I think. It's been blowing some today all ready not to bad yet :frown: It is going to be a warm one though at least on Friday high 80's, mid 70's for the weekend :D

Hope it stops by tomorrow. The temp sounds perfect. Can't wait. Wish we were going NOW! :)

My Mom & Dad are in Cavecreek and she said it was supposed to be WINDY this weekend :mad:....for some reason I think it's a given with the wind and these races.....oh well! We're outta here soon, see you guys there. :lightsabe :)

OMG does that girl ever sleep? She wasn't kidding when she said they would be there by 10am. We can't leave until noon. :( Hope the wind dies down. :burningm:

Just thought y'all should know Mike Neuharth died in a crash in the pro mod class today. Our prayers go out to his family and friends. :frown: Kristina and Mike

Very Sad. I just got back to Parker from the races. I saw both boats crash. It was very windy. I think thatÂ’s what made them both lose it at the same time. How is the other driver doing? My thoughts are with the family.

The other driver suffered minor injuries, but will be okay. There is more info on dragboatalley about this crash. Kristina

i was at the races today. very unsafe racing conditions in my eyes. the winds at times were out of control. my prayes go out to the famliy of the driver who passed. its not a good feeling walking bye a empty pit with griving family and friends.

I could only amagin the conditions, the wind was blowing here a constant 40mph almost all day and the 60-70mph gust just sucked !!!
I really hate to hear things like this, but the man did it because he loved it !!!

Very sad news :frown: Its dangerous enough without bad conditions :confused:
We came home Saturday because of the wind and cold. Test and Tune was kewl on Friday though. I'll start another thread with a link to some pics later today.
