Are digital controllers equalizers need in a boat application.

That depends on who's going to set it...lol You also need to run the DDC to control it....

Are these hard to set.what is a ddc? large band eq's always take time to set... every application is different so no settings are really ever the same... The DDC is the Digital Dach Controller... You need it to set the eq....
Don't know if I'd put one of these in a boat...May consider the type of 30 band 1/3 octave that you hard mount remotely... No buttons for anyone to push that way... Ususlly you set a system's eq to play optimum and your done...
