I've always thought that blue and orange go real well together "on the water." Looks good to me. :)

That's the ticket... silver pearled base, and dark blue, tangerine. That would be the $hit

I think the colors look good, as well as the design. My only thought would be to maybe have the orange come back out in the rear corner or something to break the solid blue on the bottom/transom area. Just a thought. I am sure the blue would have some fade in it. I have never done any orange with anything I owned and thought it would a nice change and I love my orange on my boat.

I agree, just a bit to tie the deck in with the hull sides. The silver base would be SMOKIN' !!!!
Silver is nearly as cool in the hot sun as white, BTW. Did some testing with a temp gun on Pro Stock car hood scoops (at Las Vegas in middle of summer, BTW) to verify that little piece of trivia. :D

I agree with the silver base. That would look great with the new silver that Dave's shooting.

hmmm good advice flowing here....I was playing with pulling the front up over the tip and back onto the deck like Flying V's or Tomcat's old boat..... I know I have seen "Thors" boat(post a pic if you have one please) on another thread but in no way was it my inspiration... I actually was looking at this TAOD paintjob(AMW ;) ) on a CIG and simply stole the bottom line Idea
http://www.the-artofdesign.com/images/photos/Buckles%2065.jpg
then I Tried adding the sideways "V" look from the 40' skater at the LA boat show along with a scalloped look... It's funny.... part of my ritual for judging a paintjob is to print a copy of it and tape it to my bathroom mirror... then if I wake up the next morning and I dont like it I throw it away.... I still like this one... :D :D
