i am needing help with my mariah. my boyfriend decided to leave me and now i have what was supposed to be our project boat. this is my first boat, but have rebuilt fast cars. the motor in this boat is a 396 bored 30over and needs pulling, the hull is in great shape but i would love to have it painted one day. i would like to attempt to get it on the water this season but again I am clueless and a bit scared to do it on my own. if there is anyone out there that can give me some pointers or contacts i would greatly appreciate it. i live in fort worth, tx.

just start doing it. everything on a boat is a headache waiting to happen, or not waiting...... just keep asking questions as needed and you will be cruizin in time for 4th of july!

I had a 18' 78 Mariah a few years back, don't see many of them around.
It was a good solid boat.Had a 454 in it.Does it have a panther pump on it?
