I can describe it for everyone.....
It is the sickest, baddest ass mofo looking paint job I have ever seen. The colors are off the freaking hook. Billy shot his wad on this one. (Most of it landed on Hansons face) While working on my boat last week before needles I couldn't stop staring at Hater's boat. It is a piece of work that is fo sho!!!
The motor was delivered when I was there and it looks pissed off just sitting there. Nothing like staggered stack injectors polished to the hilt.
Congrats on the ride Jim I can't wait to see the look on your face when you are finally cruising on the river.

I can relate with your situation Jim. When I took the Sanger apart after Father's Day 2003 I had some sort of bizarre notion that I would have it back together for Sept '03 Red Rock   Welllll..... Here it is April of '05 and it will finally be ready to make a meet. Oh well I am anxious to see your motor too.

As it stands right now it is up in the air if my boat will be ready for needles :angry2: :2purples: . but after seeing and working on sangerboys boat I can gurantee you it will definately be worth the wait   :D :D :D Hope to see your rig @ irvine!!!!!

UCLAHATERS boat was so under wraps that it was pretty much off-limits for pictures. But I will check my camera.
In the short time I have hung out at Billys shop, I would say it is the best job I have seen. It is so wild.
I wish the rigging didn't get so jacked up or it would be ready for Needles.
I wanted to do something to tie it into the graphics, I had a hard time getting it all done on time when I should have. Par with any custom job, some of the parts I made were wrong, and I had to remake them, shit happens I guess. To make matters worse, I had to ask Billy had to step in and help me on the design of the graphics because what I made just didn't look right.
At any rate, the final deal works with the boat, I can't wait to see it rigged.
I appologize for the delay, I feel solely responsible for this boat not making it to Needles. I don't know what else to do.
I spent hours designing and machining the rigging, so many that neither of my own boats will be making Needles this year, so I guess my punishment will be an eye for an eye.

I'm sure Brian has some of it.
I have a few pre-finished pictures. Mostly early mask ups, not all of the colors at the same time.
This boat is truely awesome.
How someone can see a design like this in their head, put tape down, and put down some paint, and come up with graphics like that is just amazing to me.
All I can say is Billy is just a genious.
The prop-turner is pretty scary with the stacks a mile above the motor.
Menacing to say the least, can't wait to see it run.

Kim, why don't you spend the evening working on your alphabet. Maybe by tomorrow you will have graduated on to your vowels. Then go outside, wrap the Canadian flag around yourself, pour 10 gallons (nah make it 15 gallons) of super unleaded all over yourself and go ahead and strike a match.
What a beautiful day!!!

JimVdrive video called me yesterday and wanted to come by the shop to take some pics so he could post them...One problem, I wasn't going to be there. Jerry will get some shots and he can post them so HANSON can shut the %&CK up :rollside: . The boat has been a struggle at times and I like Jim wish it could make it out to Needles but thats not gonna happen (wish there were 90 days in a month) :frown: . Jim has showed alot of patience though out this project ( i'm sure that would of changed if USC had not won the National Championship) and all I wanted to do was give him something he could be proud of and was different then most of the Biesemeyer's out there. It has never happened where I have not been able to make a deadline and that part sucks, but when your redoing EVERYTHING stuff happens that is out of your control, not to mention you keep adding things as ideas change and that puts more time and pressure on everyone involved. All's I can say is I have put my heart and sole in this one and now for the first time I just might have to copy my own layout to put on my boat as i'm jealous, not to mention mine has been painted for 14yrs and i'm over it!!!!. Pics coming soon.

It will definately be worth the wait  One thing I want to point out is it has nothing to do with Billy why the boat wont be there. Im probably months a head of where the boat would be without his help, and his contacts.
I would rather the boat be perfect than done by Needles, and thats what we have done. We could have actually rushed some things and made it, but I chose not to
Pics coming soon :2purples: :2purples:
There would be some Ass kickens if USC hadnt one Back-to-Back National Championships :D :D (Here that USC Hater)

Hulls "like that" weigh anywhere between 380 and 700 pounds bare.
This one is probably between 400 and 500 pounds.

Hey guys whats the cutout at the back for, once again cant wait to see the next paint job from billy b :D :D
Its for access to the area below it. for example; Imagine a big fuel tank sittin behind the motor, should you decide to inspect your steering cable you pop the plate over the access hole and your in. Without it your taking out the fuel tank and wedging your head down between the splash guard and motor.
