single and a jet boat..need help

i am needing help with my 78 mariah. my boyfriend decided to leave me and now i have what was supposed to be our project boat. this is my first boat, but have rebuilt fast cars. the motor in this boat is a 396 bored 30over and needs pulling, the hull is in great shape but i would love to have it painted one day. i would like to attempt to get it on the water this season but again I am clueless and a bit scared to do it on my own. if there is anyone out there that can give me some pointers or contacts i would greatly appreciate it. i live in fort worth, tx.

Damn Jim, I always ask for a picture first before jumping in that fast. How about posting some pictures so we can see what the boat looks like. Pix with you posing with it are optional. lol. It all depends on how complete the boat is as to how hard it will be to bring it back. Boats are more simple than cars, and cleaner. Any questions you have will be gladly answered here. You have to post them in the ***boat image center first, from what I'm told. Then you can attach them to your posts.

Ok lil mama, this is what you do. pull up the pic in the image canter. click on it so its bigger. The right click on it and scroll down to properties. Highlight the address andcopy it (ctrl and c together). Then when you post just paste(ctrl and v) what you just copied. then before the link you will add and at the end you will add
It will look like this.....
what you just copied
Or if you want a better look just quote what mighty thor just posted with your pic and you will see how its done. Any questions just let us know;)
