do you plan on using 12-degree profiler heads? from personal experience, those heads need a ton of work right out of the box.

Why's he selling?
Alum block won't make you any more power than cast iron, and Cyclone's right...if you're going to continue this build in the direction of the Profilers, you better be prepered to spend a LOT of money to finish.

Just my opinion, but I would not put an aluminum block in a river or lake boat. I would only put an aluminum block in a race boat.

Sounds like moor money & work then it's worth.
i just thought it might be better to go with the
alum block becouse it's lighter & kinda liked the
idea of having the sleves. a good dart block
might be a better choice. thanks guys.

i dont know much but there are plenty of people running alum blocks on the river.
like the others mentioned, price the heads and manifold before you pull the trigger. You could be in the ball park of 10k in heads and valve train, etc. to finsh that monster..I say go for it, then youd be a member of the big chief club.

Regardless of the deal, I would beware of Racingjunk. Pick it up in person after its inspected. Dare I say boat people are more honest?
