Geez here we go again, I'd be willing to bet most guys on here go with WIX or NAPA. I use wix now, I used to use Fram till I heard of all the bad things about them.

Ive Used The Hp Frame, Napa Racing, Wix, And Now Using Baldwin... They Have All Worked Well For Me, But To Be Honest I Dont Know Chit About Them. Always Heard Good Things About Wix And Napa, But Now Hearin Baldwin Is The Way To Go.

I use a system 1, it has worked
well for me on the race boat.
They are a little expensive but
it's a one time deal.

System 1. They filter or I should say screen 100 % of your oil when the bypass is blocked off. Just don't be scared when you clean the screen for the first time and see all the craaaap! Remember an oil filter only can filter about 15% of the oil and the rest is bypassed. :cry:

System 1. Have seen four different boats drop oil pressure with fram filters. One buddy called me after we rebuilt his 468 and told me he spun the new motor over and couldn't get any oil up to his upper valve system. I asked him what filter he had installed and he told me fram. I told him to take the filter out and install a wix. He did and presto oil.

K&N or Hastings. Ive also used the Baldwins and had good luck with them.
