Thinking about getting a bigger boat like 26' range single engine around 1996-200? range. What do you pay for insurance on your 26' Cat. Just trying to get a figure of what I might be paying. Thanks for the help Bryce

Well... at least that much with over ...say, 650 hp and over 100K value. Any NA engine is far less to insure than supercharged. Most carriers won't even insure a SC engine.

When I had my Mach 26 with a Teague 740hp my insurance was $2,700 a year through World Wide Marine Insurance Group. My new Spectre is ........... well it's a 30' so it doesn't matter..............

The insurance rates will vary due to horsepower level. What kind of horsepower or max speed are you thinking of running?

I have a 96 American Offshore for about a year. First couple of quotes were around 4k. I now have coverage for a 96' 2600 AO with "stock  for around 1400 a year

You should be able to do that with stock power and not have any problems getting insurance. Good luck, RR
