Buy CMI's. You're spending Big $$$ on the motors, why go cheap with the exhaust?

Will have to have "custom" CMIs to get them to fit right. The $$$ for both sets of exhaust will cost just as much as one of the motors. Cant bring myself to do it.

Had them on my last boat. No problems.

I just bought a set from Placecraft20. I can't wait to replace them ugly steel mercruiser manifolds. I'll hopefully get some performance gains too.

Get the short tails, and you can run the hoses that you have now. They are almost the same price as Trick Marine is selling CMI's for. EMI's $1800/set CMI from Trick $1949. EMI's a little better than stock, or go with EMI's old design and use Revolutions for $900. http://www.trickmarine.net/productdetail.cfm?productid=448

I have not seen or heard anything about the flow factor on the EMI system !!!! Do you by any chance have a flow chart for them in comparison to any of the others out there ???
Thank you
Jim

So it looks like the Eickert is the shit !!!
Who sells that stuff ???
But I would still like to see some flow charts, so that there could be a real good comparison done.
I know that even headers have different flow rates and that even with there unrestricted tubes make big HP difference.

A couple of things:
1-Standard HP500 motor with no modifacations.
2-KE did the comparison, so it falls in thier favor.
3-How many Offshore Racers are using KE headers, little to none. Reason?
