Anyone have info on Bahner Boats?

My buddy just bought one and wanted to know more about the company. All he can find is that they where in Santa Ana in the 1980's. Does anyone have info on them?

I had one, what do you want to know? Typically they were laid up pretty light and perform pretty well. I think the owner was a decent boat builder, but a terrible business man and ending up filling BK

Yeah the boat looks great for its age and seems to have handled the aging process pretty well. I haven't had a chance to ride in it yet though. My friend is curious about the horsepower rating on it. The motor is a volvo 350 with a volvo outdrive. probably around 270 horsepower. Does anyone know exactly what hp these have? Was there motor options from bahner and did they only make a 21 foot?

I had a 21' closed bow with a 265hp 350 and an Alpha 1, with that combo it would run high 50's anytime and I saw a best of 62mph
