You shouldn't need pics.... Just tell her that's what she wants.... Unless she wears the pants in your family... By the way did I mention my wife looks awesome in pants.... (j/k)

God damn, dude. Your ideas do change like the wind..... :hammerhea  :hammerhea
It won't have much more room than what you've got now.....smoother ride, maybe. But not much more seating capacity....mid cabin does have storage.....its got that.

I was really interested in the 25 bullett also till I was told there isn't much difference in price between the 25 and the 28. Now I want the 28.

Wow, I'm thinking that the cuddy cabin is not what sells the Howard, but whatever works. :D You can't go wrong with this boat

Just bought a 25 close deck (see post "new ride or float"), the diff in price between a 25 and a 28 is the motor package you need to push it... We did the 25, the boats ride similar, but the 25 is easy to pull and fits in the garage... Both are great boats... Good luck.

Have you looked at the 27 Dana? Not sure if it's what your looking for but as for a mid cabin, it's got a big one. I think this thing is even bigger than the 28 Howard. Won't perform as good but it's big for the money.....

Thanks everyone. Yes Rich my mind is always working. I am not optomistic about the Conquest. To many things have to happen for that plan to work. We could sell our Howard alot easier @ Howard than with the trader or Conquest. I emailed Gene to ask about pricing. Anybody know what the actual price difference is between the 25 and the 28? I was going to go no smaller than the 525. The Dana is nice but I'm tainted.

Here are a couple of pics of the Midcabin of a 25--its actually very roomy, I can sit in there no problem and be comfortable. Look up roln 20s in the image gallery--I have pics of just about everything.
Here is the price difference between the two--base price about 10K. The 25 is NOT standard with those bad ass Dana Billet pedestools, the Dana Hydrolic hatch hinges, and a few other key essentials you see on all boats. When priced out with the same options--there is less than $5K difference between the 25 and 28. I'm with Djunkie- the 25 is bad ass, but 3 more feet for $5K is a no brainer.

Don't quote me on this but I think I was quoted $115k for the 25 and $120k for the 28. Both with 525's and nicely loaded. If I pull the trigger on one of these I am going to go a diiferent route as for power. I have my eye on one of those 600hp TP motors built by GT here on the boards. 80mph sounds good with 525 but I'm a speed junkie and I want to go fast. :D

Those cuddy's are real roomy. I'm 6'3" and sat upright with a couple inches of headroom to spare. can't do that in many 25' boats :)

I would not buy without riding in the DANA 27' !!! This boat is awesome and is priced very well. I bet you could get one with a 525 for a bit less than the 25' Howard !! Give Rhett a call over there, at least to know that you did some due diligence
