The E-ticket deckboat looks pretty good as well. What about the HTM DB? Anyone seen one cruise the channel? I've seen it a few times, looks nice except for the swimstep configuration in the back, really detracts from the looks IMHO. And what about Halletts news 285 DB, that thing is bada$$! $105k with the 525. OC's DB looks good!

I would run a labbed 32 and see how it goes. Plus try not to fill your fuel tanks up with more than you can run in 3-4 hours. Less weight = much faster.

There is this stuff called "liquid shim", It's kind of expensive($3-$4), in a pinch, you can build up old bearings with it(saves money on rebuilds) I wouldnt go more than 1/4" thick though, its kinda soft and gooey..................If you use too much and its too thick, just knock it down with some sandpaper on a toilet paper roll. make sure you wait for it to dry(2-5 minutes). Dont worry about the shavings, they will all be caught in the oil filter, and at your first oil change(next year), you can change the filter. Sorry for the long winded response, I hope this helps............................

Put it together, and just pour a box of BB's into the intake just before you bolt the carb on, they will reduce friction everywhere, and will make it seem like your cam bearing problem is nothing at all

I'd guess the cylinder temps are too high, add some water to your gass to cool the cylinders down... about 50/50 water and gas should do. Also might want to add some sugar, i know sugar makes me more energetic, might work for the 4.3 too  :rollside: :p
That should get you 7-8 MPH, the last bit will take some prop work, you need to make the prop smaller so it's easier to spin in the water. Take a die grinder and cut about an inch off all the way around. Be sure to wear eye protection.
