well i have a place on parker strip, & em wondering about this sound law? I have a 18.5 jet boat with a 468 with basset headers? can anyone help me? tell me what the deal is? I just found this out...

Do a search for Noise Law or something like this. There was also a nice article Jan or Feb of ***boat about attachable mufflers. But a 468 with OT headers is too loud. :cry: I'm sorry to say.

i have read where most of the water cops say if u have mufflers and show u are trying to get under the limit even if u are over they wont ticket ya......might be just rumor dont know.

I know my quiet Ford does not even raise a cops eyebrow !!!
But it could be the mufflers and the steam that comes out that helps me avoid the problems. The new Law seems to be so much easier than the old one !!! I used to get hassled all the time !!!
