Can any Magic deckboat owners tell me how they handle?

I love ours. We have an '04 28' deck with a 496HO. I think it rides well and handles equally well and turns flat. Our normal cruising speed is around 45mph and that is fine with the family on board. The ride in rough water is leaps ahead of our old eliminator v-bottom and with most cats the faster you go the smoother it is. The only issue I have it the weight sinsitivity. If you don't get all your people weight evenly distributed, it will list to one side and and handle funny. If we were to do it again, we would probably get tabs so we could rectify the problem when it occurred. I highly recommend the magic deck.

The 28' Deck boat handles nice and turns flat.
It went over 2-3 ft chop like it was nothing
I went for a Demo ride with Darrin at Magic/Sleek and he took a turn at about 60mph and tried to throw me out of the boat!! :D The back seat on the oppisite side of the turn is not the place to be at 60. :supp:
The cat hull will pull some serious G's!!

Being a Nordic owner, I went for a ride in a friends new 28 Magic and was very impressed with the ride at 50mph. If I was in that market that is the deck of choice.

http://http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/510/2371DSC00113-thumb.JPG it rides great, like ryan said at 45 to 50 with kids its very comfortable, easy to drive.Anything over 50 gets a bit windy for kids I think, the boat will go much faster and stay safe. Its almost 100% dry ride unless theres a still cross wind, then just a few drops.Ive got the 496ho as well,so far its been fine for power, top speed is good for me.I suggest getting the windshields, they help. Also if it matters,it trailers very nice, real smooth with the triple axle, its balanced well on Magic trailer. Also its the easiest boat Ive even launched, you almost cant screw up getting it on the bunks..........Hey Ryan nice meeting you in front of the brewery a few weeks back.I will try to put up a boat pic see if you remember us.Later

I think they ride great. WE have had 10+ people in the boat on a holiday weekend and it still rides okay. I would highly recommend that boat.
