The Hardy Party the weekend after Labor day is fun. I've been to it a few times. Some wickid fast jets, outboards, and some big ass offshore stuff all mixing it up. The small boat guys head upstream a little ways to a sandbar and race for bragging rights. They even heave a radar gun.

There will be a lot of other boaters and gearheads at the party with many pictures up on the screen of the events from the previous year.
I am now the volunteer/self appointed webmonster of the Mi. Hot Boats web site and since I don't know what I'm doing I have been learning as I go.
Nothing like on the job experience.
