View Full Version : Get well soon

Tom Brown
04-26-2005, 03:43 PM
I have this “friend” who went in for some surgery today. I'm not sure she would want me sharing this news with everyone on the board so I don't want to mention her name.
Get well soon. I hope you're drinking coffee and playing the shong chain again real soon.

Awww you guys! Thank-you everybody. :) Huge thank you and a hug to you especially Tom. :) :) :)
Surgery went well. I'm minus a gallbladder. I'm home. Pain's not too terrible except if I cough or laugh so you'll all have to forgive me if I don't stay too long while my incisions heal - way too "laugh-risky" in this place. :D TTFN I'm gonna go lay down for a while. :)

Thank-you topless. :) Oh, it was definitely a trick - Tom's never serious; everybody knows that. That damn gallbladder was interfering with my cheese intake so it obviously had to go! :D

Thank-you Deb! :D
It was laparoscopic surgery only 4 tiny incisions instead of a huge gash. Home the day after, yesterday no pain meds until bedtime, today (day 4) I feel good. :D Heal time is estimated at about 2 weeks as opposed to 6-8 weeks the other way. I've been advised no heavy lifting otherwise I'm living like usual. :)
A kiss? Kinda cheesy, eh? :D
