I am going to be coming to Lake Medina for the "Meet in the Middle". I'll be pulling in on Friday and leaving Monday. Could some one familar with that area get me a phone number of a hotel or motel close by? I'll be coming by myself so if someone wants to share a room speak up. TJ

I have excepted my pump for what it is......:( I'll never be the fastest  but I can make noise and drink gas with the best of em. I am thru with this boat......for now. next step for me may be a tunnel hull with a white pump hanging off the back and a cheby in front of the pump. that 572 crate looks like it would be a good choice ;) maybe in another few years.......

Before you dive into a 572 crate, you need to call Infomaniac.

Listen up folks.....we now have a local hookup for VP fuel and nitrous. a buddy of mine lives in Medina (minutes from the lake) and he is a dealer of VP race fuels and fills nitrous bottles. I emailed him and informed him of the event and told him I saw a few gas cans and smelled some funny smelling exhaust at Canyon;)
Here is his response:
Get a synopsis of what they'll need.
Here's what I have to offer
1. 103 Unleaded Street Blaze (Recommended for mild compression motors
running good timing)
2. 110 through 114 leaded for boats running high compression.
Prices will depend on the feedback. I've got the pump so all we'll need is a
good 110AC outlet and I'll have the barrels on ice.
I will also have Nitrous for those whom need it....$3.00 per pound for this
event only
so give me some feedback so we can nail down some pricing. A couple weeks notice for him would be nice also so he can 'bulk up' his supply. Now you can leave those cans at home guys......
-EDIT- this is the latest.....
Most of their fuels will cost anywhere from $7 to 8 dollars per pumped
gallon when delivered to the Lake. I will bring it down to the same price I
charge at the shop $6-7 dollars per gallon depending on the can. Basically
free delivery. I will also offer by the drum discounts if anyone wants there
own.
He also only needs around a 1 day notice for the fuel.....
