Gonna need more info on your setup. Impeller? Intake manifold? Put that 750 on Ebay to get a couple bucks for a bigger carb.

On what is pretty much a mild grind for most aftermarket performance roller cams, you are still going to need to port more than just the exhaust on those heads. Your carb is way too small for such a cam too. Think Holley Dominator series.
That's all I can say; you have not provided near enough info about your intentions...

i have jucuzzi golden eagle, i was thinking about putting a tunnel ram for the intake but havent decided yet, and im open on getting a new carb. i am also looking for a new hull with a berk or dominator pump so i would like this engine to work with the new hull also.
thanks for the input guys

That's Comps XR292R-10, rest of the specs are 254/260 @.050, 110 LSA, .016/.018 lash and a basic RPM of 3200-7200 RPM. Seems a little hairy for a mildly ported 460 in a jet (6200 RPM's with a "B" impeller would require 650HP), but it would sure sound good. The basic RPM of something like Comps XR280R-10 might yeild better result at the 6000 or RPM's you'll likely see. What RPM goal are you after using which impeller?
Ask Lakes Only about his Scott J. iron heads, Scott's right here in Tacoma too. I think if you had Scott massage those early heads and help you select a good hydraulic flat tappet cam (maybe Comps Xtreme Marine XM288H) with a better induction, you'd likely better your current plans for similar money.
