put new roller rockers on
new pushrods rods
headers tuning red right away
stumped need help don't know where to start

Lean... vacuum leak. Check timing also. Also is this at idle or cruising? Could be a fuel supply problem also.

between 1500 and 2000rpms trying to warm engine to set idle
put 202 heads and larger carb 750 dual fead

put new rockers and think that they are not properly installed
said that there is no vacumn leak
oh and this is through a friend just trying to help figure it out

headers red at the bend is not abnormal at rpm. Are you sure possibly just never looked in dim light before. Just suggesting a possibility. I am assuming these are dry headers or at least dry at the point seeing red?

timing could be way retarded,burning fuel in exhaust pipes,advance timing and see if that helps.

I agree with texas-19. Nothing was stated about setting or checking timing, that would do it.

they played with timing but they kept retarding it I will tell them to try advancing.
I will try to get more info
350 chevy block huggers and this is in a street truck.
swamped the stock heads for 202 and put a 750 on it.

This is a timing issue for sure. You are way too retarded. Notice how easy it cranks!
