Jets in Big H20??

I'm located on Lake Mead, adn looking for a new boat, my ski nautique doesn't cut it here. I have little to no experiance w/ jets, mostly just hear say (driven 1, a small block powered flat bottom).
How do jets handle flight, a very real possibility with my driving style, and the size of the lake.

Go with a 24 or bigger i/o. Jets are for the river.

Jets handle flight just fine. Back off the throttle or use a rev limiter. Here's one cleared for takeoff on Lake Mead:
