I need a Dart Tunnel Ram for a tall deck big block chevy. I do not care what top it has. It can even have no top at all.

For $700 I think Dave could carve one out of alum himself.

I was kinda hoping for a good used one. But if something does not pop up pretty soon I will be forced to plunge into a new one.

You might want to send Sangerboy a pm, last time I was at his garage I saw a T-ram sitting on the shelf but I don't remember if it was a Dart or tall deck, worth a shot though

I'll check that out Ian, thanks
Also I found them new at Flatlander for $629.00 with what ever top I want.
Or I could take the chance and go for a new never used (yeah sure) for 550.00 shipped from some dude on racingjunk

Dave,
Have you put calls into George, DNE, Pfaff, Boostpower, etc. to see what they have lying around? Sometimes customers change programs and leave their old stuff with their builder to sell or keep for another project.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't ya already have one that was all polished purty and ported etc? Is this for the turbo motor, or do you have something else up your sleeve? ;) If I hear of anything I'll shoot ya an email.

The one I have is an Eldeborck victor ram. It was port matched only and has not been polished. I just changed my mind and do not want to deal with the spacers for the tall deck. Been there and it sucked.
No, I have not called all the engine builders. I know George won't have one unless it's new and paid for before it gets ordered.

I go with the puss deal, but since he is going forced induction would a sheet metal intake even be a benefit?

My nephew has one that's available if you still need it. It was used for less than a year and is in great shape. If you want it, send me a pm with your phone # and I'll have him give you a call. He lives out near Edwards.

Well I'd love to have a custom deal like that just for the bling. Ol' Steve Yorder has done such a nice job on all the alum tin work so far that it would have been a perfect fit looks wise. I'm sure it would have worked even better. $$$$$ don't even have to look
So...... I bucked up and just bought a new Dart. No more spacers, yea!! Sherry over @ Clay Smith was more then fair to me. And it's nice to support the local speed shop. This is their 75th year of pure horsepower. How bad ass is that?

don't think so, lots of stuff is not getting polished right now due to the get it done factor that's kicked in.
I'll have the intake in my paws next week. So then I'll get cracking on the rest of the cooler. I nver finished it because I just new I was gonna ditch that other manifold.
Here's the carb boxs in their raw state.
