Got XM with the new truck last week and it's great not to worry about loosing the signal going to the river. Now I just need to figure out how to get it into the boat (need the Sony add on thingy).

Thats the way to go.....one fits all. NFL and next year NASCAR! yeah baby.
Did they still have a "lifetime subscription" or did they ax that?

XM here, and loving it. We are not big sports fans, and we are not fans of Howard, so XM works great for us. :D
We got the mobile unit, take it everywhere and in all the vehicles. The Mrs. has it at work during the week because there is no reception where she works.

Yes..they still have it..it like $499 on the sirius website..I just went for the 1 year option for now..
I love having it all the time no matter what, and the information, such as the name of the song and the artist is always nice..

I have Sirius in all the vehicles and love it. I'll probably put it in the new 27 Shadow when it arrives this week. However, I am somewhat biased as I used to work for them :D

i have xm its a portable unit.I do think that the music on there is pretty repetitive IMO i seem to keep hearing the same songs.I do like that i can hear it anywhere i go or put in my boat.A thing i can offer is listen to both xm and sirius radio for an hr or so then decide.
Between cd player,fm and satelite i do seem to find something i like

i've got XM in the wifey's ride. I love it. My only complain is that there are TOO MANY CHANNELs and i do a lot of surfing. but the comedy station is great when you get burned out on tunez......

We have XM and it's great in the boat. It got to the point where I did not enjoy listening to the radio because of the commercials.
The best part of XM is commercial-free music.

Got XM on the boat, house in Havi, and vehicles. Love it! Opie and Anthony are the best. :D We listen to them while traveling back and forth. If you like Howard Stern better, he's goin' with Sirius.

XM in cars, boat and golf cart. I personally do not listen to FM at all, sometimes cd's, but all the variation is on XM. The traffic channels are good too for immediate info. Paid for 5 year subscription, less in the long run.

Have XM in the new truck, in the office, on the boat & in the Van.
I wish they would come up with a format like the old Z-rock, does anyone remember them from the early 90's, heavy metal all of the time.
I think they were ahead of there time. Broadcast via satitllite from Dallas TX.

Thats because Siruis isn't going to be around much longer. You'll lose out on $499 "Lifetime" within 2 years.
