i get a letter in the mail from chevron asking about card usage so i call them, they ask if i put in 200 dollars of diesel on friday.i told them no and she asked me do i have my card which i did.i ask her how in the hell can someone fill up on my cc number, she tells me they have a card that they put in the machine right after you are done filling up and it gets your card number and they go to another station and fill up.scary as hell and i would of not even known if they wouldnt of been greedy and put $200 in.i think im going back to carrying cash!

it is but you wont do much boating if you dont have a truck to pull the boat to the lake, and mine runs on diesel! :argue:

Thats a load shit she told you, they are readers and can't output to anything. At the reader itself, maybe inside the station. How did they pump $200 in one fueling, doesn't it stop at like $75.00?

i dont know how they did it.i put in 90 bucks every 5 days so i know it goes past 75.i never go into the store and only gas up at the same station next to my work.

I had that happen to me once on my Chevron card. This was a few years ago. But they took the charges off right away.
Good luck to you. Hope it all works out.
