Had a great weekend with the family at Lake Mojave. Thought I'd post a few pics of the boat.

Miner's Cove used to be my favorite cove!!! Spent a lot of time there. We used to hang out up by the jumping rock though.
That was with my old boat....

Here is a map that was sent to me. Miner's Cove is towards the bottom.
Hey WantaCat, what does your boat look like? I will be there Thurs (26th) and leave on the Holiday (Monday).

Miners cove is great if you can get it. If the back has people in it I sit in the same spot Jason is in. Great spot for the kids to jump and float around. Damn lake lice like to swarm around every now and then..
Geeeze I can not wait to see a few friends for a picnic :D

True. I was there on Friday afternoon and again on Sunday morning about 6:30. It was full the rest of the weekend. Cool cove. As far a Newberry Cove goes, it has quite a few beaches and is a large cove so you could ski or tube or something. IT will probably be crowded on a holiday weekend. If you get out early enough, a lot of coves will be avaliable. 83 dollar cove is pretty cool too.

I don't know if its on the map, but Washout cove is cool also. Its only big enough for one boat but you get total privacy and protection from wind.

Thanks, Frenchie.
Hey Sportin' Wood, is Washout Cove on the south part of the lake? Any GPS coordinates? I'm always looking for new coves to explore.

Washout is in the south part, I'm not sure where exactly, but it's on the AZ side past the powerlines. It is not real far back, but you can spot it by the ridges on both sides of it that funnel the water down in a T-storm. It faces north, and you can walk way back and hike if you are into that. I don't think we have it on the GPS.

I was in that parking lot Sunday afternoon. However, I ran into a couple that had virtually the identical boat. The colors were a little different, but, it was nice. Could have been them...
nice pics there sir :D
Thanks.....:)

I was there Friday-Sunday. There was a boat beached in the very back of GA. The reason it's empty is that it was about 6:45 AM... I went for a morning spin to try and top off the GPS speed. I hit 56 with 24 labbed Revolution and a 454. Didn't hit top rpm's. I'll probably have to try a different prop. It was a great weekend on the water....:)

Usually we stay at one of the casinos. This time, we stayed at a friends house in Bullhead.
