When I said I was not a computer guy it meant several things including that I don't just sit there evetry spare moment and stare at the monitor waiting for sh*t to respond to. :p
6:00 PM I was at the movies watching Sahara (disappointment) then on to Mudsharks for a couple pints.
Boy but there is some drama on the Sandbar about the channel closings.
I will e-mail pics today, thanks.

Mudman, you could be here from SC by 5PM if you left now, nice day, maybe 100, slight breeze. I'm launchin (the Cole) within the hour. Seems like you have nothing else to do anyway.

Wish I could bro, but if I drove out there I would have to tow that Daytona home with me. Had to go back to work today at 13:30 anyway. Would much rather be on the lake though. :shift:

Any more pics of the Shiada? That boat would look so bitchen capped.
How heavy is the layup on the daytona. Its got some thick stringers. Looks like a solid boat. Nice boat for someone for sure. Great lower parker cruiser.

I will take more photos of the Schiada when I finish the exhaust and pull it out of the garage. It's a 1986 that's been completely gone through.

Bense468, more pics of the Schiada in Image Center, Readers Rides, V-drives (sorry), Franky. Could you post for me.
Daytona is ready to go, pump work by Jack, just needs a motor, everything else is there. I am kinda re-thinking the selling thing, after putting so much into it to get it right. Might put a more docile mill in it and hang on to it just for BR and Parker.

How well of a lake boat would this be? I boat at lakes with very mild chop would this type of boat work for that condition? Is it still for sale?

CMI sport tube with Merc flanges, jacketed extensions that where extended about another 9" and then attached to (water dump) 5" x 16" IMCO Gatlins.

BigMo, as long as you don't get crazy and start jumpin' rollers like a jetski  :D you otta be OK in that hull , I would imagine it is laid up about the same as the boat you got from Johhny down here or mine ???
Mine is about 600# bare , it's not bad till you get into over 1' of chop then I put her on the bank :D

Can someone tell me what the nice polished tube is after the water pressure regulator. I am running the same regulator and thinking about changing it out. The reason being, is that it contains a very small screen and if it gets clogged, bad things will happen to your motor  like it did with mine. Anyhow, just wanted to know if it was some kind of larger screen or ??? I am thinking of changing it out to another type of regulator offered by Rex Marine that requires I cut out a hole in hull. I saw this, and was curious to what it was.
Thanks,
Rob

Rob it's an oil cooler. Just pull the screen on your reg. and you should be fine, thats what did on mine. Also if you dont have a oil cooler talk to Dave about getting one.

Thanks Joe...I thought it was an oil cooler, but in the pic it looks like it was connected to the water pressure regulator. You say talk to Dave about an oil cooler...how about talking to Dave about getting my motor back to me....I dropped it off in November and still haven't got it back  . I hope I will be able to get it back soon. This boat has been nothing but a f*ckin headache!!! Are you running the same water pressure regulator as me? Supposedly, according to Dave, it was the main cause of my motor being messed up and he's the one who told me to put it on. Who knows....but I definately don't want it to hapen again, if it was.
Rob

franky

It is hooked up to the oil cooler. water from jet, to reg, to oil cooler, to motor.
