you see the aluminum strip on the bottom of the dash, I might try to put something like that on my boat. http://www.collectorcarswanted.com/cars/107911/CIMG1702.JPG Has anybody done this?

That's actually quite common and many boats came that way. You could probably get the trim strips from L & L Marine in Southern California someplace. :)

I like it . Everything is clean and nothing spectacular and very well taken of. I think.

I need to pay more attention, never noticed that before. I think it looks nice, I wouldn't mind cruisen it. :)

I did mine. It's a piece of cake. Buy it, form it around the dash,
drill it for the rivets, rivet it in place. You can even buy the colored
rivets for it if you want. I did mine 8 or 9 years ago and you can see
it's getting banged up from skis/wake boards n such. It's pretty cheap
and easy to replace if it gets too badly beat up.

No flameage here. I think it looks great. The babyshit brown
(butterscotch) isn't my taste, but I'm not buying it either.
It's a fine looking boat and he sounds confident with regards
to it's mechanical integrity. You can just tell that he has no
doubts about it running well.

No flamming ken. This is truly a clean boat in my book. I dont really care for brown but I would roll this boat in a heartbeat! I love the way the deck looks with the blue. Notice haw he never states that it does 100! Obviously he has asome coin because all the stuff there is clean, his ride is clean, and it appears to be near some airport hangers. That area in az is well know for the big spenders;)

look at his gel and seats, they are immaculate! The only thing that would make this boat flawless is some steel braided lines and new wiring. Thats it!

Most all your oldschool jets and v-drive have that trim. I have it in my 87' kachina. I think that is a beauty ring and it also protects your legs from getting cut up.

The Eliminator isn't bad, but IMO doesn't hold a candle to the Baker.
That thing is practically flawless. The only thing I can see that I'd
give attention to, would be to re-route some plumbing/lines and
maybe tidy up some wires a bit. If it goes for $12000 - $14000
someone will be getting a good deal I think........... I've got more than
that in mine and it looks like crap in comparison.

Looks to me like Baker kept his Kona Daycruiser mold and put out a few as Baker Boats. Looks exactly like my '78.
