Drove through the Fire on the way home tonight....
On the 10, about 5 miles East of Cabazon.....
They had (2) AirTankers, a scout plane & a helo.....
Oh.....and a bunch of poor bastards eating smoke.....
Right after the last photo, we got covered in retardant from one of the tankers !!!!

Went at the last minute....Got things ready for next weekend....

I think is was about 6:30.....
I went through about 6:00 and the chopper made a drop right next to us. I was towing Boatfloating's boat home for him, I'm glad we didn't get covered with retardent... :frown:
