We're No Longer Boatless!

Well we have finally replaced Grusome Twosome! It took us almost a year to finally pull the trigger. It came down to two very nice boats....
1. 2001 Lavey Craft 2750 Sabre Cat with a whippled 500 EFI
or
2. 2001 Carrera 257 Cat with a Teague 800
Both boats are low Hours and in "PERFECT" condition and the same price.
Honestly, we just kept going back and forth and couldn't decide which one to go for.
So beleive it or not we decided to put it in faith's hand and flip a coin and agreed that we would buy the one that won the coin flip.

The boat looks O.K. in the pictures, but I'll tell you what, I've seen the boat in the sunlight before, and it is a totally different boat. In the sunlight (in person) the boat totally comes alive. The gel is awesome is all I can say.

Thanks everyone for the nice replys. It's a tough decision to make and we didn't want to make a mistake. It easier to purchase a house then a boat IMO. I think we will be picking her up tomorrow afternoon. Might have to drop her in the lake to wash off the water spots :D
I think we made a good decision, but I also think we would have been just as happy with the Lavey. They were both beautiful boats. If we didn't flip a coin we still wouldn't have been able to make up our minds.

They are friends as well. We actually just went out with them for a day and were telling them about the carrera when they offered their boat for the same price. At least we didn't choose another boat over theirs, we flipped a coin. They are not actively selling their Lavey and were o.k. one way or the other. I even mentioned to them that I would feel bad buying their boat out from under them and leaving them boatless and they said they were o.k. selling it or keeping it, it didn't really matter to them.
I'll tell you this much....It was one NICE RIDING boat and a heck of a deal if anyone wants a beautiful Lavey PM me and I will put you in contact with the owner.

I swear I was gonna call, but I wasn't on my own timetable. Let's put it this way, I went and took pics of my lot in the dark at 9pm on my way out of town :jawdrop: Sunday was a hard day, I got a little (ok way) too much sun and not enough water. There is a part of the day that is blank to me. And no I didn't spend the day drinking.
