Nevermind just saw his boat in the middle. Those 29 DCB's look miniature compared to Predator.

the wake on the bottom is from the 36' skater that has Pamela Anderson on his deck.

Well the REAL-ity is that if Bob hadn't had his family in the boat and left her pinned it would have been interesting to see if pred could have eaten up the water that the F-29 gained in the drag race start ;)

So far, the only thing Bob has proven to me is that the only TCM/DCB F-29 cheerleader bigger than Charley is WW.

I think Bob was propped for 130 and that's why he took off like a rocket. He knew he couldnt run with the big boys for the long run. So to get some attention (which he has) he pulled everyone at the start. Pretty smart on his part.

Charley- the water was real lumpy untill across from sandpoint around that bend as you head for the water pipes on the cali. side.Just ask Pegged what it was like. :) 29 0r 32-it won,t make any difference as long as they are 8.5 feet wide and have two grenades on the back for out drives.I was real impressed with krozzins wide body 36 as he was handeling the lumpy water as good or better than we were.

Your way off base there!! If my memory serves me correctly he ran well over 130 with alot of room to spare. He was running 5 blade props, I think 34's with 1.24 gears. Thats well over 130, do the math. That DCB of his is a rocket!! We were next to him at 120 and it looked like he was in cruise mode. I would have liked to have seen him crack it off at 120, he would of left us like a crack head running from the police.

I couldnt agree more, there was a couple of spots that were completely f'ed up. Charley, ask Bling about standing that Nor-Tech on end!! We got loose at one point, and the only option was to pin it at 120 or so to get the boat back into shape!! Cool poker run though!! It sure was over fast.

There is a ton of great shots on our photo disk, Art and I are making the copies as we speak. I'm holding off on sending them until the video is complete and ready to send also. There's over 750 photo's on the CD, most around 1 meg.
I am hoping to ship them in the next two weeks. Jim

Thats exactly what I was saying.... a 29' or 32' x 9' wide boats only chance in that field is to start in first and never get passed.... even in front it would require perfect water in front of the pack to allow a 29' boat to run huge numbers for that long a distance ..... totally unlikely and pretty foolish too assume such water exists on a summer saturday on havasu.... I did speak with Mr Teague after the Poker run and he said he thinks his boat can run 165mph.... wow....Thats both impressive and frightening :jawdrop: .....
BtW Congrats Gary I'm just playing devils advocate, you obviously made it to the 1rst Card stop first so you deserve The High 5 ;)
