Dude.........you can get a better deal than that! Where are you getting it from? You must be paying for crate and set up.........DON'T!
Yes it is as fast as they say..........my Rx is an older model and I can hit 64 in the salt and about 60 in the fresh water. That RXP is a 70mph ride in the fresh water!

Wow. Prices have really gone up since I bought my 1200. But that was a 2 stroke.
I heard 70 mph.
Congrats. And have fun.

And any idiot can plunk down $500 and make payments for the next 10 years and have no idea of what he is doing and go 70 and hurt himself, or worse, someone else. Of course, the same can be said of boats.

Sweet.
I remember a 3 Liter Nissan GTP engine in a Sea Doo.
When I look at those, all I can think of is dropping a bolt down below the engine. :burningm:
Sure would be fun to drive though.....

That'd be your opinion...
Actually I think owning a 100K+ boat is like being married to a hooker... you are stuck with it and pay for it regularly... (spoken from experience)... :D

I ride mine full throttle at Folsom regularly... but I don't have a 215 Hp engine either I have the 2001 135 Hp GTX DI with the old style hull (lighter and a little shorter). It'll do about 57 on GPS at WOT on smooth water. Of course the speedo reads like 65...

I used to race sitdowns. 70 mph is dam fast. Be carefull riding this at WOT. I have taken many spills at high speeds and it is not fun. It is definitely a rush. Enjoy!

I raced for 8 years and my stroker motor, fuel injected Blaster was fast at 51mph! It did 0-50 in 3 seconds. Talk about ripping your arms out of your sockets.
I would love to ride one of the new RXP's. They have a very nice motor in them! 4 stroke, closed cooling.
Fun for weekday Havasu exploring, and wavejumping off the coast!

I raced from 88-96. 550 mod and limited, then X-2 Limited, then Expert Mod WaveBlasters. Western region, so cal and Havasu. Lots of races at Longbeach and Castaic at the time.
Sponsored by YKP in Pomona, FOX, White Bros. and a handfull of others.
Raced McCluggage when he was on his way up the ranks. He hauled ass since he only weighed 90lbs.
Had a bunch of Pro friends. We rode all over. Practiced 2-3 days a week at Castaic in the evenings, Spent alot of time jumping waves at SeaCliff too.

Riverracer,
I raced a few closed course races but mainly did endurance racing. We had a lot of ocean races. You raced with the old schoolers. I raced for about 6 years until my body started to feel like it was done. I miss the competition.

$12k for a waverunner??? Jesus, I'd rather spend that on a nice boat that you can actually have friends along for the ride!
It probably costs them about $5k to make one of those! That's insane....

Stealth,
I raced some fast guys that moved up past me into Pro and were really good. It was all about doing the "Tour". I never went Pro because I didn't have the $$ or the time to tour the country, so I stayed Expert.
Raced with Clay Cullen, Dan Fitzgerald, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jim Lupold, Chris Marone.
I miss those days. It was really a fun type of racing to be involved in. And those motors are really easy and fun to work on.
I really bailed the racing scene when the SeaDoo HX came out and started spanking the WaveBlaster. After dumping over 12K into it I couldn't afford to switch boats again and start over to be competitive.
Wish I still had that Blaster. They aren't like a sit down at all.
