Do you have life insurance?!!. That's some wild looking stuff. How fast does that little tub run? You could try a mercury sport jet if you are hot to put a pump on that boat. A V-8 may be a bit heavy. Looks fun.

Of course, the family will be well taken care of in the event of something stupid happens. Currently I just put together a new one w/OMC's SST-60 100 hp racing engine with some modifications and still dialing it in. Out of the box with 20 gallons of fuel on board she ran around 70mph. Still working to get a little more..........

I would try a small block. One of the guys on here may know more but I think either american turbine or aggressor makes a smaller pump that would probably work. There was an issue of hot boat that had a small boat like that with a jet its called the scally wag I'll see if I can find that issue.

P.S. that looks like a blast how well did those hulls hold up after that kind of abuse. Also how did your kidneys hold up. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Does anyone know of taking a MERCURY V-6 2.5 EFI OFFSHORE powerhead and addapting it to a pump housing???

The hulls I built were made to run in the rough. The one I just put together ran the 75 mile POKER RUN in NEW YORK CITY as well as an 85 mile POKER RUN in NJ where 25 to 30 of those miles were running in the Atlantic Ocean. As for me, it's time to get a kidney belt. Not peeing blood so I guess that's a good sign........
