Intake Fins

I have one fin on the suction housing broke off more than half the length. The other has about 2-3 inches broke off. Could I cut the long one a down to the same as the short one? I thought about adding to it however it could break off and go right in the pump. Any advice. Anybody! Thanx!!! :) :)

kraig, do a search in just jets. this has been covered before. both versions have been accomplished with good results.

I busted a fin off of mine too. I am in the process of creating a new fin to be welded on where the old one broke off. If you have access to a TIG welder, it isn't that big of a job.
