Had an area of my boat where I was stuffing an inner tube in last year that stayed wet. Started smelling like cat piss. Got rid of the tube but the odor came back this weekend when the boat stayed wet for 3 days.
I need help. I cant deal with that smell! Anybody got any ideas how to get rid of that smell without bleaching the carpet????!!!!!

I am not sure if it will work but the pet store has stuff that gets out pee smell. It is an enzyme. Used it in an apartment. seemed to work well. I am not sure if it will help you, but hey maybe it will work.

Pour 2 cans of beer on it.
Dont know if it will work, but I am sure beer smells better than cat pee :confused:

I like your thinking! But I believe I will just pour some tequila on it then have a few of the girls do some splits or something there. Problem solved!

Try spraying it with Lysol. Worked for me before...

Just air it out completely and shampoo the carpet let it dry completely and you should be all set. ;)

"Natures Miracle" is a product which can be found at the pet store. It has an enzyme in it which eats away at the urine and eliminates the smell...forever.
With two french mastiffs and two poodle mixes in our house your nose would never let you know we have dogs unless you saw them. :p

Blue coral makes a carpet cleaner...Wal Mart has it .....Its a good cleaner and has a nice smell also....

Try Lysol. It might be a mildew smell from being wet, and the Lysol will kill it.

Yea it is a midew problem. Probally shampoo and lysol. Hopefully that works. It is nasty. Or buy a new boat. :D
