KenF your motor is looking awesome. I gotta say it again: I really like those sheetmetal valve covers.
Don't forget to put that last bolt in the front motor plate mount at the stringers. ;)

Honestly the way Ken has that set up it should push his boat into the tripple digets. And that carb is quite big. It is about the size of two 650s I believe !!!

i guess it doesn't look as big from being zoomed out on a digi cam. :hammer2:

Thanks for the Kudo's guys. Kev you are right about the camera angle.
It's a 1050 Dominator. It makes me shudder everytime I look at it and think about gas prices! Damned thing looks about the size of a toilet bowl. If you look at the size of the bowls on the carb, they are the same size as the bowls on a 750 Holley. Then look at the size of the main body for some perspective. I've just purchased a Tunnel Ram, but the Victor is supposed to do quite a bit better than a tunnelram on the top end...
We'll see.

MOTOR LOOKS GREAT. IM HAVING TROUBLE WITH DRY ROT IN MY MOTOR MOUNT HOLES IN THE STRINGERS. DID YOU FABRICATE THOSE MOUNTS ON THE STRINGERS????

These mounts were built by Hi-tech performance, but I built the set on my previous boat. It really isn't too hard....a good jigsaw and a can of WD-40!!
What kind of engine are you running? If you are in a hurry Duane at Hi-tech has them made up and ready for Ford & Chevy.

here's a link to Duane's site: http://www.hi-techperformance.com/Parts.HTM
which shows the kits unpolished for $425. I forgot to ask how much more for a polished set, but call Brian tomorrow and ask him. 316-794-8497

Nice motor ken, what other kind of mods do you do to it? I have one being built right know and I'm going to go with the victor Jr intake and 1050 carb also. That set up works nice I've seen it in action.

Bailey,
it's a 466 full solid roller, .680 lift on intake & exaust. Full set of coated bearings, larger cam bearings, extensive oil mods, with one of Lakes Only's new Super hi-volume adjustable oil pumps. That's about it.
