GM Tomorrow will be comming out with GM pricing for anyone for the month of June that is approx 5% below invoice... This program is compatable with rebate's BUT I don't know what the rebates will do (go down or go up) they could stay the same until tomorrow... If you have been thinking about a new GM product let me know and I will quote in this thread as so many people might be looking for the same vehicle it might save me from doing double work to quote pricing,..... Good luck shopping

General Motors says it's going to trim back on other incentives, but a late report from Automotive News suggests that the General will be generous with its employee discounts. The paper says that dealers confirm GM will extend its employee discount to customers for at least a month starting today, June 1. The deal will apply to 2005 model-year vehicles, but it's not known yet if the deal will be in addition to existing rebates and financing deals or instead of the incentives. The deal could put prices at four percent off the invoice price of any GM vehicle save for the Corvette. The program is due to be confirmed today, the News says.

You Punk! Our dealership had a RED one, a blue one and a white one. Awesome. I want one too! The sticker earlier this year was 53 and change. Enormous rear leg room. Before I got serious, though, I would have to see how lowering-friendly the suspension is. Clearances and whatnot. That would look too-bitchen in front of that beautiful Magic!
Oh, that was the Chev dealership. The GMC one has a silver metallic one just sitting.

Well, I did it, called Jay yesterday, and got a quote on a new truck. By far, the best price I have seen, but wasn't sure if I could afford what I wanted at this time, so decided to sleep on it, and decide today. Woke up this morning, and saw Jay's thread about the discounted Chevy deals, so called him for another quote. The quote was approx. 5K less then the quote I was considering from yesterday, so how could I pass up the great geal. Called Jay, to start the painfull process of buying a new vehicle. Well, that process tok all of about 10 minutes on the phone, followed by about a 4 minute phone call with his finance guy. Done deal, and to top it off, he said the truck would be at my doorstep this afternoon. Exactly as promised, there was a knock on my door with one of his associates. Filled out all the paperwork (all of about ten signatures), and the guy (who was extremely nice) was gone, and there was a clean, diesel filled truck that was exactly as promised sitting in my driveway.
My wife still can't believe how smooth and painless the whole deal was. I had told her of the "legend" of Jay, and she is now a believer (and I have to admit I am now too. I had heard the stories, but I am now witness to the great pricing and service)
Please do yourself a favor. If you are even considering a new Chevy, call Jay and at least get a quote. You might be surprised at what you can actually afford.
By the way, it is a new 2500 HD Duramax LT 4X4 short bed.

Pics will be posted tomorrow. Magic 34 just posted about all the work Jay is putting into this. Yes, we all know he is making money off theese deals, but I can't believe how much work he is juggling, and yet giving the personal attention and care that each customer expects, and demands. He is busting his balls, and deserves everything he makes. Like I said earlier, I had heard the stories of his prices and business dealings, but today I had the pleasure of being part of it, and it was the best buying transaction I have ever had.

I am with ya on the gas vs. diesel. That will be the hardest decision when I go with a new rig. Don't wanna give up the bigblock sound, but heavy boats are hard on gas motors. Diesels just breeze through it. Plus, they don't sound too bad once you take the muffler off.
I believe, however, that the 26 gal tank is a short-bed issue. Maybe someone else can verify this, but I think it's the shorter frame/no room.
I am a dually guy, so short bed is not an option. I'll stick with the 34 gal tank :rollside:

How much and where to get the larger tank ?? I do remember hearing about this. I can make it all the way from Havasu to Thousand Oaks on less than a 23 gall tank of gas not towing, otherwise I stop in Barstow for a potty break anyway and get gas there.

I haven't done anything to mine yet and it's pretty much holding around 15.5. If I do a lot of city driving it'll get down to around 15 mpg. I"ve heard that after programing you can gain an extra 2mpg, sometimes more.

Thanks for the hook up on the new ride. Things went very smooth and I recommend anyone that is in the market for a car or truck to give give Jay a call. I cant wait to lift it and put wheels on it. Any recommendations what I should go with. The truck is 2wd drive so I don't want anything real crazy.

I gotta call bullshit on the 15 mpg
Well then my on-board computer must be wrong because I get and average of 15mpg driving primarily the freeway to work, 60 miles a day round trip.
I have seen the best at a little over 17mpg to the river. I can get there on just over 1/2 a tank of gas, not towing. 80MPH
345HP, 380 torque, all wheel drive!

Great purchase Bob--I bought the same thing from Jay last August. Here is a pic of mine! These are 22's with 305-40s. The ride is great. I have since added a Gibson exhaust, hypertech reprogrammer, Gaylords tonneau cover, billet grill and bowtie and matching escalade door handles. I'll try and post one of these pics once I figure out why my computer is being so lame.

Ok, I read this thread and thought all of it to be too good to be true. Talked to Jay on Thursday, late afternoon, had a truck delivered to our house Friday evening! This isn't a too good to be true thing, it's the real deal!!! Jay did a great job hooking us up, with even more on the truck than we asked for. I highly recommend going thru Jay for your next vehicle purchase. Thanks Jay!!

Simply amazing! I never even talked to Jay, Tandi did it all I just sat back and watched. I do not like car dealers, don't like salesmen, don't like the finance guys, the yard guys, nor the garage guys. I get all pissy and become a major asshole with all of them. Jay is not like these guys. It was straight forward and totally painless.

Good looking truck! I just got back fomr the dealer few minutes ago. Got a 2500HD LT 4x2, crew cab, diesel/allison pkg, dark blue metallic w/ light tan leather interior. Price was exactly the same at several dealers. Played each against each other on my trade in and finally one dealer says how about free tires for life, chrome tube step, spray in liner, billet grille and chrome door handles thrown in for free? I said sold! I couldn't be happier. The chick I had for a saleperson was shit hot with details, no f'n around, straight up with #'s and was awesome to work with. Very painless. I will take delivery in a couple days.... hells yeah!

I don't think so, but Jay goves you the no BS price. It takes the game out of the car buying process and gets straight down to the point.
Other dealers make you fight to get the lowest price, which makes you wonder if you even did by the time you leave. Jay's process, move a lot of units by being honest and straightforward.

Jay, is the special pricing good for parts also? Someone ran their trailer into our new truck at Katherines on Sat~ Took out the bumper, the filler panels, brackets and the turn signal light bracket.
Finally though, someone left their name and number :D
Ted I know a guy that runs a Chevy dealer body shop if you need some help with parts

How much rebate are you guys getting out there in addition to the employee pricing. Sign the papers on mine in the morning. Getting a $3000 rebate. Then they are even going to kick $200 dollars in extras. Plus have it shipped here from another state with no charge. The dealer here really kicked it in with no bullshit.
Gotta give you GM guys credit this time. If I bought from Jay I would have to get CA emissions probally. Plus a hell of a drive!
Wound up buying 5.3 HO Extended cab Z71 with buckets sliding rear glass. Basically everything but leather, Bose, and sunroof for $26,433. I got the 410 gears so it should be a stump puller! :D

I was told here at the dealership in Reno that the rebate was already taken and reflected in the employee price. If this is not true I guess i will call them this AM to see what the deal is. Jay any thoughts on this? Is the rebate before or after the employee pricing.
