I wish I could tell you about it, all I do know is that Schiada is a great boat. My suggestion would be to talk with Jordy, he just sold one very similar...

But you could tell him about Schiada in general right, come on Jordy, I thought you were working on the "Nicer You", help the brother out. After all you could have told him that it has chrome rims, chrome fenders and a black trailer... :jawdrop:

Oooo Oooo....the trailer is black.
Actually if you look closely at the nose of the (first boat) trailer, it's got 2 racks for PWC's. Booo-hissss.

I will tell you on the white and yellow one, being a '79, if you need financing on it, you'll have a hard time finding someone who will do it, unless you go to a credit union and pay 9% or so interest on the deal. That was the problem trying to sell mine, very few places will loan on an older boat and NADA doesn't go back that far on the Schiadas.
Other than that, you really can't go wrong with any Schiada and they're a blast to drive as well. :D

1) Look at condition of floor (wood)? (dry rotten)
2) Seat frames (wood)?
3) Engine leaks (oil)?
4) Patch work in the gel-coat (fiber glass)
5) Leaking water transom and pick-up.
6) Do all gauges work.
7) Do all boat and trailer lights work
8) Do you really like a yellow boat?
9) Do you have a place to store it?
10) Can you tow it with what your planning on towing it with.
11) Can you handle the liability of all your drunk friends in the boat with you.

Are you asking me where is the white and yellow Schiada located ?
It is located at
40555 la colima rd
Temecula, Ca 92591.
If anyone is local, please stop by and look at the boat and let me know what you think. I'll be flying out there soon, just need to know before I spend the money for the plane ticket.

Hi ShockwaveBob,
No, but I can give him a call later and ask him if it is ok for some one to stop by and look at the boat for me. Actually his cell number is 909-240-2800. I did e-mail him about the boat and telling him that I'll be out there looking at the boat soon. It has been dragging because of my wife wanting the Mastercraft instead. I'll let you know as soon as I contact him and ask if you could swing by and look at the boat for me.
Thanks you so much ShockwaveBob.
Alex.

Well,
I just made a call to Steve, and left a message about having some one dropping by to look at the boat for me. If you still want me to talk to him first, I can still do that and let you know. How far is it from LA to Temecula ?
Alex.

That would be great,
Detail, I need detail. Anything that you can get your eyes on. Kick the tires if you have to. Don't leave any rock un turn.
Thanks again,
Alex.

ShockwaveBob,
Have you ever seen this boat on the water ? Thought, cause you are so near to him, you probably saw him a few time while you are out on the lake or river. Would love to hear how the engine sound. Let me know what you are thinking about the power that he has on the boat. He said he is the one who build it.

tamalewagon,
My wife and I are in a process of getting a plane ticket to LA and then we are driving to Temecula. We want some one locally to have a chance to look at the boat and let us know everything about the boat. We don't want to fly there and the condition of the boat is nothing close to what was describe in the ad. Cause we have looked at two boats before and let me tell you. When people said it is in excellent condition, it no where near that. I mean carpets was torn and dirty, vinyl has cracks and tear, engine compartment has standing water and oil in it and bottom of boat got cracks scratches. The color of the boat is chalky due to sitting out in the sun. One of the ad even said they store there boat in door always. But when we show up it looks like the gel has fadeded out so bad that it is rough not smooth anymore. If that is what they call excellent then I don't know what good condition would look like. :D
Alex.
