Smokin' '78 Taylor SS whacker-whipper, 454, Been running nitrous since '79. Dad bought her off the showroom floor, I got her fall of '03. Been quite a restoration project. Stil looks all orriginal and turns heads wherever she goes. I had pix on the Taylor Owners Board on EZ-board til they got hacked last week.

79 cv-23, 460 jet, yup still got the fun fur, yellow with bronze metal flake. Just re diong it actually. Then probably up for sale! :D It's actually got a cool history. It's a 79 but completely rebuilt by Carlson and resold in 89 as new at a California boat show. I'm the third owner. I was that Art owned this boat for quite some time.

Interesting. The reason I ask is that I was told the CV-23 turned into the CVX-23 in 1979 for one year only. The CV and CVX have the same hull but the CVX had a 5.7 liter GM engine option and a swept back windshield.

Well This has the origanal 460, with forward facing windshields ( I bought replacements from Brad) This boat and the year descrepency had me messed right up for a while. But from talking with Mike and geting the last owner to dig out all the paperwork( finally) I kinda know the history. Registering it had me screwed up, as the hull showed 79 but all the paper work was 89
