Notice the rod sticking out the freezeplug hole!!! I thought the bitch was gonna sink kinda freaked me out. The motor still ran. Still turns over. Didnt spin any bearings either a piston or rod. Pretty depressing.

Just hope you can save some of the other stuff Mike. Atomic didn't really have anything salvageable when he did that to his. I think only 1 head and 7 pistons were OK.

Thats true my wife was freaking out calling 911 nobody answered of course. Only one other boat was cruisen around I flagged him down threw him a rope and told him to get me to the dock I thought we were sinking. Worst day boating ever for me.

I just need a good shortblock. I was already starting to roundup some parts for the next engine. Iv got a nice set of heads already I just need a shortblock.

Ran the motor two full seasons and had 5 trips this season. Ran it pretty hard but was cruisin when it blew. Gonna tear it down this week see if I can figure out what happened. Not a motor from eliminator. Thanks to Wallygator from the boards for hooking me up with a new block and crank. Great guy. Hopefully have it running before long. Need to see whats salvageable from the motor. When you play sometimes you gotta pay. :hammer2:
