Ok, I got my Rex silencers and was wondering what sealent to use. My tips had some kind of non-harding silicon. Any ideas?

I'd recommend a marine grade silicone like Boatlife and no need to overdo it, just makes things more difficult to get apart later.

Yes we should have it. Most good traditional marine shops like West should also have it or equivalent. Just shy away from the stuff you see at home discount / hardware stores unless it specifically says marine on it. I've never had good luck with any hardware store household type silicone product nor automotive gasket sealers. They're not made for underwater use and deterioriate. The 3M 5200 type sealant will also work but is way overkill IMO. Fine if you never want to get them off but... :jawdrop:
