Very sad. I am a Dodger fan, especially from the era he was from. Those were the good old days. God Speed Steve. Say hi to Walter Alston and the Big Blue Dodger in the sky.

Father-in-Law, who works for MWD out at Iron Mountain says a co-worker was first on scene and that it happended between Iron Mnt and Desert Center and not in Coachella, like they report. Guess they figured no one would know where Desert Center is so they went w/ Coachella?
Another Rice Road victim. :(

With the amount of people travelling that stretch of road why don't they add an extra lane to each side? It's not like their isn't room to do it.

Probably cause there is some rare ant type creature that is more important to save that us humans.
