One other thing I noticed Leon (and I'm not even being a smartass for once) , you may want to ask them why the hell they didn't seal all the wood before they tacked it into place using the resin. You can see the few spots where they used the resin but for the most part it is naked. Even if they DO treat the exposed side I would guess that the underside is still naked.

This was my own boat from a few years ago, it's back east somewhere now. I had only done the one with those colors and grahpics. Leon asked me about using the graphiics. I told him it was cool, I consider him a friend, so it's all good. I like it when someone actually asks me if it's O.K. to use one of my designs. (plus my dog seems to have taken a liking to Leon for some reason)

Any idea why engines keep blowing up? I think this is the 3rd HO right? Why would that be happening specifically to this boat and not a lot of others? Just curious.....
No Idea??? I was running at 4000 rpm and not even running it hard??? I check the oil every 2nd time out?? And this motor has only 76 hours on it.. Maybe it's true what Ken says "Sh1t Boxes". 496 HO is a Sh1t Box??? I will tell you one thing for sure though... If it is due to something I have or haven't done I will post it so everyone else that has a Sh1t box will know..

This boat is a lot in my mind for a single 496HO. If a single engine it must be, try everything possible to get a 525 w/ an XR drive.

Yeah, I was trying to stay away from infringing on their designs with Frenchie's Ark, so I changed the style a little bit. :D :D :D

I don't know...
Is it just me, or is photochopping on someone's new boat kinda cold blooded.
It's probably just me.
Carry on. ;)
Hey Jordy...BTW...congrats on the new boat.
I have memories of that boat from one of last year's DamRun's coming into Willow Beach...there was plenty of air underneath that thing!

Nah, I think it's kind of expected, especially if it's a Shockwave. Tom's (DILLIGAF, H&D Boatrider, ShockwaveTom, AARP President...) had big AARP logos all over his. I believe Tremor Therapy ended up with doilies all over his. I guess they just have different interests than frenchie. Shockwave aims to please. :D :D :D

Thanks, I'm pretty excited about it myself. Not to mention it's a cat so I think I might be safe if the beaumont crew is around, or at least one of them. ;) :D

This boat is a lot in my mind for a single 496HO. If a single engine it must be, try everything possible to get a 525 w/ an XR drive.
Suggesting a blue motor? Giving up on the Raylars so soon? I agree with the XR, but has anyone figured the difference for even the full-boogie 600 Raylar vs. 525?

Leon the gel looks great! I like the clean and simple lines. Did you go with the Bravo XR or the Bravo X drives and what kind of speeds are you looking at with the HO's?
