Finally done. She did a really good job, and look great. She did exactly like I asked her to do. Things are starting to come together. All this for $689.

Wow, how fast is your ride with that nice pink shag carpet???

The carpet is actually there for protection against the tools and ladders while I am redoing my dining room. There is oak hardwood flooring underneath. I am trying to keep the refinishing damage to a minimum. Now if I put that carpet in the boat, it would probably go faster, just to get me away from everyone that was laughing. lmao

Wet Dream.......looks good, I know you put a lot of time in your boat this winter, can't wait to see.
Come on Hammer.....you're progressing well, you have done some major work also this winter, I know you'll have your stuff done.....so we all can see that new "S.L.Motor" of yours run.
See you all at "Anna"......7 weeks and counting.....I still got so much to do.

Those look really nice! Did they do the wood also for that price? Could you E-mail me with the phone number of the person who did it, I need some work done! Thanks!

I did the wood work myself which cost about $75. I went to a local upholsterer, Williams Upholstery out here. She does everything like house furniture and also boats. You should be able to find someone local.

WetDream, I'm looking for the exact same design for my 18ft. Southwind. What kind of boat are these seats going in? I'd like to do the woodwork myself but I don't have any templates to work off of since my seats were back to back buckets. Can you give me any info./drawings/dimensions on how to build some seats like that or how to start out. Email me at BWhite@chiptonross.com if you can. Thanks!! - Brian

Actually, count me in, too - I'm going to do something similar in my boat, so I'd appreciate any insight you can provide!!!
Thanks! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

hey wet dream, I am gonna be doing an interior soon. what type of wood did you use? anything special with the wood, brackets, assembly. I too am gonna have it professionally upholstered. I am guessing it would cost too much to have them redo the wood too, and I am pretty good at the wood stuff. any other suggestions - comments about yours (mistakes) that we might avoid in the future. thanks for your help.

For $700 bucks I'd say you got a steal!

Hey guys, as soon as I get a chance, I will post pics of the frame construction and all the details, I am very short on time tonight. I will hopefully get them before the weeks end.
