460 dist. cap

i have a 460 bbf with a prestolite dist. in it and i need to get a new cap for it.
does anyone have a cross referance number for a after market cap or do i have to get another cap fo4r a prestolite? thanks

Go see Napa, I bought a real nice one from them for my 460 Prestolite, don't recall the part number but I think it was made by Sierra Marine.

I had the same problem. Went to the local speed shop and started opening boxes; found the Mallory kit (cap & rotor) part #2091M fits perfectly. I later upgraded to a Mallory Unilite, found the same cap/rotor fits that distributor also.
