Can anyone post any pics of how a micro switch for a NOS system is supposed to be mounted? I am running a 850 holley and do not know where to mount the micro switch for my NOS sytem at the linkage? Any help will be appreciated.

Dont have a pic, but you need to modify the bracket that came with it to position the switch so that the carb linkage makes contact thus activating the switch at full throttle... I recall thinking the mouting of the switch was a pretty crude way of going about it...

Nos makes a bracket that bolts to the side of the carb and uses the secondary linkage to engage the switch, works great!!

Yea, this way. My old system used a bigger switch on a bracket that was pushed by the main arm at full throttle, the micros go by the seccondary arm on mech. seccondaries. Probably need a mod to put on primaries on a vac secc setup.

There are lots of switch mounts out there. Edelbrock makes a nice
one too.

Or you could go with the rpm activated switch. I don't know if these
require an ignition box or not. Maybe someone else will know.

Personally I use the microswitch and made my own mount/bracket due
to my dual carb linkage setup. Like all my homemade mounts and
brackets, it's crude, but effective and sturdy.

Couple things I've learned.
1. Don't tighten the screws down too much, or you'll crack the
switch. It's just plastic.
2. Do use locktite on the little screws and nuts.
3. Do carry a spare switch with you at all times.
4. I prefer the roller type switches to the ones with the little bend
in the end.
5. Make the mount/bracket adjust to where you need it. If you try
to bend on the little metal arm too much you'll either break it, or the
plastic switch housing.
6. If you're gonna take pictures of your boat with the intention of
posting em up here. Clean the friggin thing first. I got a dirty boat.
I learned all this crap the hard way. By busting stuff then not being
able to shoot the juice. It sucks learning stuff the hard way.
