Well, I hope I have just witnessed the end of a stormy era! He said he is done and does not have the heart for fighting any more. I hope he means it. I am glad I bought the fight at the last minute. Many may say it was a waste of money but what the hell. He admitted he was just fighting for the money.

Scoring wise, it was not pretty, about even.
That big and I mean BIG white boy was really leaning on him, wearing him down. Tyson quit on his stool after the 6th round.

he fought pretty good through 7 rounds!! almost def ahead on score cards until round 6 then got 2 points taken for head but!!! at round seven went to corner unhurt, maybe a bit tires but overa ll good...then just decided he was done, quit and siad that would now be his last fight, his heart is no more in it, and had to financialy take care of his kids, does not posess the love any more nor the ferocity...and was sorry for dissapointing the fans!!!

I am glad I paid 44 bones to watch his last fight. I have never seen him act like a normal person. I give him props for speaking the truth for once in his life. I feel he should have at least given up by getting TKO at least. Sitting on the stool calling it quits is kind of weak.

For about 10 years he was the most devastating force the boxing world has ever seen.
A line from Spiderman, "with great power comes great responsibility". Obviously he could not handle everything that came with his incredible talent. Kinda sad in a way. Would have liked to see him go out in a better way. Hope the humble Mike I saw after the fight does not change and he fades away quietly without anymore of the drama and stupidity we have seen in the past.I wish him the best.

Man I feel so sorry for Mike Tyson now. He seems to be a different person now...almost humble. When he admitted that he was basically doing this cause he has debt and he didn't love the sport anymore...sheesh poor guy.
Hope he lives the rest of his life in peace.

Just read the Times. He was relegated to page 5. They said his creditors got $2 million, the IRS took it's share and his ex-wife got $750,000. Does not leave much for Mike, does it! It said he is some $40 million in debt. With all the money he has made over the years, how can that be??? What a travesty!!
