Expensive insurance, get the deck version. You will see a big drop in insurance with the deck.

Go back a couple pages to the magic vs. conquest issue, tons of posts on excactly what you need, but to answer a few they say 75 to 80mph with a hp525 and around $100,000 plus for a new one with that motor.

its a septor now,insurance companys may not know its a CAT,your insurance maybe less tahn you think,still above 900$ a year at best.My guess is the boat with a 496Ho will be 85k and up

when I was looking, my guy said "boat type?" I was trying to be sly and said "we'll, it's a modified tri hull..." - he says "is it the deck boat or cat?"
Progressive is very sensitive to the nuances of the hi-perf boating world. Plus, a 496 HO is like the old 454, 330hp - base power.

Come on out to the Nautical this Saturday (6/18) and you'll be able to see a whole bunch of them. Might even wrangle yourself a ride! Magic regatta is going on that weekend.
